44khz instruments in 48khz project

Hey guys. I'm looking to buy Best Service - Best Service - Forest Kingdom - EN which says it is 44.1khz.

I run all my projects at 48khz. Is this going to be a problem?

Define "problem".

What it does is a real time SRC on the output of the plug in. I have had serious audible issues running some 44.1 instruments at 96k...never tried just 48k, but I know a lot of people running 48...and almost all VIs are recorded at 44.1.

And I think it's also one of those things like "the faster your CPU, the less issue"--because the real time SRC doesn't use as high of a percentage of your proc.

End of the day, it is an issue with VIs. It's why I use my PC primarily for midi/VI work...and record audio elsewhere. Analog cables are your friend. When I work natively at 96k in the same pc, I export a mix down (or stems if needed) change THEIR sample rates to 44.1, new project, do the VI work, render...and import those renders into the 96k original project (which does accurate NOT real time SRC on them).
