Hey....

I haven't really been following this recently, but did they ever release all of the algorithms? If I recall, they initially released only a "lite" version with two, and then the full release was coming. Did that every happen?

Thanks,

Some things to consider.

1. Dispense with HD algorithims until version 2.0 so you can dedicate your full resources to finishing up the hardware algorithims.

2. A UAD-2 port for an uncrackable alternative to Ilok2.

nice!

I have to say that im very happy so far with it... except for the bit bridge in logic. thus the reason i want the ipdate in 64 bit.

new algos and early reflection control rocks.

im also happy i downloaded the PCM lexi demo and was able to get the lx480
to sound very similar by changing its (too?)many parameters.
..and then of course.. i never saved that preset
dont get me wrong.. there is a difference in sound but def not a thousand dollar difference. i rather get a used Tc4k for that price.

Hmmm.... I'm considering this move as well now.... perhaps just get Lexicon instead...

Pity..... great sounding reverb....

Don't know about you all out there, but I followed this thread for at least a year. I waited on the sidelines patiently, while all the good an bad comments filled the pipeline. I found a used version about a month ago, and couldn't be happier! With the RL480 lite you only need one algorithm. Instant Lexicon! The main reason I held off was all the bad press with it working in Pro Tools. It acted a bit quirky at first, but the sound is undeniable. Vocals sit so well, it's not funny. Let me preface it by stating I have owned and used all the major HW Lexi's from the LXP1,5 through 224's, 300, and 480. Now whether or not it's exact, I don't care. It does what the Classic Lexicons do, and that's load it up, it's sounds great, and move on period. I will continue to wait patiently for the other Algo's, no doubt. Way to go RELAB!

its actually a good sounding reverb.

i downloaded the leixi PCM and tried the match the relab to one of lexi presets for large hall and got pretty close. loved it.

Demoing a bunch of reverbs, and I just had to add that I find the LX480 to be really sweet and warm. I don't know anything about the development of this reverb, but whoever got it to even this lite stage did a great job. It seems very tweakable too. Whenever a 64 bit full version comes out, no matter how long it takes, I'll be interested.
