Mac/FL Studio Expert Advice Needed

I am running on an iMac 2GHz 2 Core & 1GM RAM. I'm getting a new computer very soon, either a 6-Core Mac Pro or the 27" iMac w/ 8 or 16GB RAM. But heres the problem. I'm really stuck on what I should do. I have ran the FL Studio demo for a while in WineBottler, and I am pretty used to it, and am thinking about buying it, but at the moment I got some AU plug-ins from NI. They have it as a hybrid version, which is AU & VST, but doesn't FL only use the *.dll format for plug-ins? I have tried using *.vst in FL, but for some reason, it doesn't work like *.dll does. Once I get a new Mac, I want to run FL in Bootcamp, and transfer my NI plug-ins to my Windows HD form Bootcamp to use in FL, but keep my AU on my Mac side of the HD as well, to use for other stuff. Can anyone help me?

i dnt use a mac for fl but if im not mistaking, the vst is the dll. file.... fl studio has a folder where it looks for all its vst plugins. you can create a folder of your own and install the plugins to that folder you created. and then go into fl studio to options and to file settings i think and locate the folder.... im not at my cpu right now so im not sure its file setting but when i get home ill have instructions for you if you haven't figured it out
