How to stop Logic from bouncing once begun

I usually love logic.

Not today.

Because of it's buffer issues, I've been letting it play on the last measure or so of a song and run past until all the buffers are clear, then turning on the loop points again, and doing a final bounce.

Every once in a while, I forget to activate the loop points before I hit bounce...

... and it just says "bouncing" forever. No cancel available, nothing responds... I'm sure it stops eventually, but it's trying to go out hundreds of measures apparently since no end point specified.

When this happens, I realize I've made a mistake, but I can't seem to stop it. This just happened a minute ago. Fortunately, this time, I had saved just before, so I can force quit Logic and restart it... but I've been less lucky in the past.

Is there some sort of command to make it abandon a bounce in process without quitting or closing the session?

Apple/command+period

OK, thx. Will try these next time. Using a pc keyboard, so I forget which key is supposed to correspond sometimes, but will give these a shot.

i use command+period, but it doesn't seem to work with offline bounces?

horrible when you're doing a long piece of dialog, or 'mastering' an album which is really long, as opposed to just letting a 3 minute song just finish bouncing
