Moving SSL Licenses To Propellerhead Dongle? (From SSL Dongle)!

Hi Folks,

Anyone been in the situation where you wanted to move your SSL plugin licenses to the Propellerheads dongle from the SSL one?

This CodeMeter thing, in my opinion is an absolute Janglish nightmare.

With e-licenser, it's pretty straight forward and even transferring my licenses from ilok 1 - 2 the other day was a breeze, but this?

I'm no beginner, been doing this for years but this CodeMeter thing has got me going all crazy and stuff!

My goal - Move my SSL licenses onto the same dongle as the Propellerheads one to free up a USB port! Both running the same firmware and latest code meter software installed.

It's been crap since day one, messages about trouble with Safari on the SSL website (Use Firefox but still issues!) but perhaps I'm missing something?

Any help much appreciated!

Theoretically possible - and we did authorise Duende Native licenses onto an Ignition dongle here at the factory. Return your license in your SSL user profile and re-authorise to the new dongle.

Thanks Jim,

I was trying to do that last night but kept getting error messages from the website. I tried Firefox, same deal.

I'll give it another go with a fresh head later.

Cheers.

Tried again in all flavours of browsers and it just does not work. It would seem my CM sticks are not being recognised by the website. Java problem perhaps? They show up in the CM utility (where I should be able to do all this anyway in 2012!).

The wording is up the wall too. Surely is should say deactivate? The system is so wrong in a number of ways.

Fair play to Propellerheads, if I haven't got my dongle, I can still use my software by logging into my account. Now that's the future IMHO.

Very poor indeed. It would seem the whole thing is broken, hence the silence. At least the ilok and elicenser have a proper system in place for such stuff. Laughable.

To my understanding you cannot use any third party plugs with propeller head, period.

Just curious is it possible to use SSL licenses without a dongle and what happens if you have to switch computers, reinstall OS, change hdd etc.
I seem to remember you are allowed to activate three times, what happens after they are used up

Just thought I would close this one off.

The problem appears to be on Mac only, probably because Java updates are issued by Apple?

Correct me if I'm wrong, however I just installed the Duende software on my Windows 7 PC and downloaded the latest Java update, plugged in both keys and all went fine in IE.

All licenses now on my Propellerhead dongle!

The wording is poor though, activate to deactivate?

Cheers.

Hey Jim I've emailed and got No support from SSL. I have the Duede Native plugin, Bus compressor, but I can't use it. It is saying that
'10075] - Desired firm code for new activation is different to the last activation.'.

My old laptop is not working now, and I want to use it on my new pc. I tried to activate it a few times, but never got it to work. Can you help me please as I have paid for this plugin and i cant use it at all, and have messaged for months.

Thanks
