Performant Vocal extracting software ?

Any of you guys know if there is a good vocal extracting software available on the market ?
I know it sounds like a dumb question, but with the progress made in the digital world, i thought may be a company came out with something...
Personally, each time i tried to extract vocal from a song with a pass band filter, i always had poor results....

That's not really true. You can extract audio information if it's at a fixed pan position. It doesn't always work, but when it does, it works very well.

Buy Adobe Audition and use the "center channel extractor" filter. It will do what you want.
