For those of you looking to pick up any UAD plugins and/or bundles, now may be a good time...

Yeah! Make sure to buy the HD plugs for WIN XP!

Oh sorry that's right you won't be able to use them if you have upgraded to PT 7.

Some of the best plugin compressors I have and they no longer work right.

So what's inspired this sale? Does anyone think we are any closer to a UAD-2 card and plugin set?

Wait 15 days and at Paris AES you'll know everything :-)
Well, of course there will be a new hardware which will have the power to run all the latest UA plugs (and the upcoming Neve 1073 one) in a decent way.

Well, regardless of what UA's next step will be (PCI-E, some kinda firewire thing, etc.) I would hope their current plugins would be backward compatible...So, I dunno...did they do it last May?

My real concern is whether or not they'll do some kind of a trade up program for those of us with the cards. I've got 2 and the thought of eating that money does not make me a happy camper. I'm hoping they'll have some sort of trade-up program not unlike Digi, but perhaps I'm dreaming...

We shall see.
