Buying a 2nd hand G4 Powerbook

What should I look out for? I'm living in PC land right now, and I'm sick of fiddling with computers, I just want one that WORKS!
I'll be using it for location recording as part of a rig, what are the minimum system requirements? I'll be running PT6 with between 8 and 16 tracks coming in at once at once. Obviously external FW drive, but what else? Prices for examples would be cool too, just tell me what currency you're in so I can do the math for exchange rates.

Please lets not turn this into a bidding thread for dealers etc....
If you have a Powerbook for sale, then by all means post.

Thanks guys.

Al.

Who knows.

Doubt it.

Rumor has it (ahem) that it'll be revisions to 15" up to G4 1.25

Another rumor says they may be dual G4

Some other rumors even say g5 laptops. I would be extremely surprised. In fact I really don't believe it.

Who knows? Wait till next Tuesday.

Whatever is released should bring down price of second hand G4 powerbooks, that's why waiting just till next week is a good idea.

Eeeexactly. BTW, I'm looking to spend around $2K AU, so obviously I'm not expecting the latest or greatest, as I said above, I just want something that runs ProTools WELL, and is reliable.
