| Gear addict | HELP - Slate Trigger Presets and Instrument/Preset Path
Just bought Trigger a week or two ago and spent tonight testing it - A few problems - hope someone can help! Everytime I open a new instance of trigger I have to go into into settings and browse to the correct hard drive (I have a second hard drive for plugs on my mac pro) to find my Slate folder with the instruments in .... - I thought once I had done this the first time I would n't have to again - any ideas folks ? Next I have a folder called SSD Platinum presets - I assumed that when I went to each folder (from Absolute Rock Kit TO Vintage Fatty Kit) and saw the Kick, Snare and Tom PRS files I could just click on say the CLA Hybrid kit Snare prs and the Snare preset for this would open - BUT NO I get a message saying - FILE KICK17 Z1 NOT FOUND FOR SLOT 1 - EXPECTED PATH WAS ........ Any idea what I have to do to get this presets to open .... Would really appreciate some help ... Thanks Karl |

I think I've sorted the instrument path problem - I forgot to name the folder Trigger Instruments but still struggling with how to load those instrument presets ....

On my mac, trigger never remember the path to the samples directory, on my pc it does. Anybody knows how to fix this? It's annoying... |

I've now found it'sabug .... Still not found a way to open the presets ......

I got that "FILE *** NOT FOUND FOR SLOT 1 - EXPECTED PATH WAS ........" when I tried to open some samples from the demo once I bought Trigger EX. I don't know if it can help you... |

i am having the same problem .. i am pretty sure i did all of the install steps correct .. is there a solution for this ?

Im also having this issue! its a huge pain to not be able to use the presets!

I also have the "expected path..." when trying to load presets even though everything is unpacked in the right folder. Loving using the plug but would help speed up auditioning diff sounds quickly. |
