Apogee Maestro 2

I was waiting to finish a project to install the Maestro 2 software but i encountered a problem with my setup and so i did install it, only to find I ONLY HAVE ONE LOW LATENCY MIXER AND NO STAND ALONE OPERATION. How can Apogee release an updated new version of sofware with LESS features instead of MORE????

I have an Ensemble and am trying to figure out how to setup latency free monitoring. Had it going one day then it was gone. Maestro 2 is terrible. I'm a big Apogee fand but this release is an embarrassment. There's no documentation to be found anywhere!

yes it is! New version with LESS FEATURES!!! I just downgraded to maestro 1 that works with my euphonix (Maestro 2 is not working with it!!!) and that has 2 mixers! at least i need one for the control room and one for the talent, i dont really get Apogee this days!!!!!

For the low latency mix , you just choose an output for the mixer, then a master input to get the recorded audio from your DAW, then set the levels for the instruments that are being recorded and you should be good to go! good luck

I didn't have the choice to stay in leopard , my new computer shipped with lion, and it's been painful working with maestro 2 , there is no way to save a file! I think this guys just rushed because the pressure ! But it's not by all means a professional designed software . Let's say is more of a n sketch

have had issues w/ Ensemble. have had issues w/ Apogee. and their Cust Support phone techs aren't the warmest souls around (at least they DO answer, though)-the thing does sound good, though. We've just never been totally comfortable using it. It needs a Hard ReStart every time its turned on to assure having a good day.
Won't be updating to Maestro v2 though. Looking forward to finding something to replace the hardward at some point.

so glad v1 has the Save/Recall of presets

There is a new version available for Ensemble users. Low latency mixer is back.
