Thread Starter | Logic 9 Screen q's
So to make this as short as possible, I am trying to have my selected screen as the arrange window, while editing in the sampler editor window. I am scrolling through regions in the arrange, using the arrow key, and dragging in the region. I have the two screen linked. The problem is whenever I drag the region and crop it how I want in the sampler, it selects that screen so now I have to click back on the arrange before I can arrow over to the next region. This is making going through 1000 regions take a whole hell of a lot more time than it should. In Logic 7 this worked fine, since I was just cropping the sampler region are and not selecting it the focus didn't change. Is there something I need to click or will this just not work in 9? |

Not quite the solution you're after, but if you use the W key to bring up the wave editor within the Arrange page you can use tab to go between them. The active part of the window will be highlighted. I haven't yet found a hotkey to switch between separate windows, but I find this is handy for the batch editting jobs.

Well that option actually has sped me up quite a bit. Hitting W is a hell of a lot faster than mousing up, clicking, then mousing back down.

Aha, didn't know that one but figured it'd be in there somewhere! It's option and ` over here, option and W closes the window, which will also be handy. |

I've probably customised my settings already.

Thread Starter | Yeah I'm looking in the key commands and the key commands have a search in the upper right so you can find stuff. Putting those words in doesn't find anything.
