Will this pc run with fl studio/other?

firstable, im new here, amazing site btw. My laptop has an intel core 2 duo processor T8100 2.1 GHZ 3mb L2 cache, 4gb RAM, 800 MGHZ FSB, i wonder if this can run fl studio with a decent number of plug-ings like zebra and silenth1, mainly for trance production, thanks.

It also depends on your audio interface. If you're planning on using integrated audio, just forget about it... At the very minimum you'll need a decent 2-channel USB interface.

You'll hear RME Babyface, Focusrite, Presonus, Roland, M-audio, etc etc, but BEFORE that, I also remind that computers (regardless of PC/Mac, desktop/laptop) need to be "optimized" for audio use.

Spec-wise, your laptop should be capable, but so many people use PCs without doing any optimization, buy very expensive audio interface and DAWs, and then experience pops/clicks. They whine saying "How come pops/click? I spent $$$ to get a perfectly working system!"

Well, I say that's most of the time user error, and wrong attitude. IMO, not learning how to optimize the audio computer is a user error. PC (or Mac) need to be optimized for audio use, and it is best when the machine is dedicated only for audio.

With that said, Babyface is probably the one you'd experiecne less hassle, so the price/performance is actually pretty good even it is an expensive unit.
