Is Windows 7 as efficient as Windows XP?? (CPU Problem)

Actually I'm not using anything is Kontack. I'm only using it for the drums, Steven Slate Drums, that I prefer not bouncing to a track because ofmy cheap converters.
I've never had a problem with the program trying to access the disk, but with Windows 7 and Kontakt 5 it may be causing a problem now.

yes!! I've tried this too to see if anything would change.

Just for the record I'm using the free version of Kontakt 5.

I don't know XP and 7 comparison, it true that 7 is more efficient than mac.
