Kirk Hunter strings

Does anybody use the products? I have the Emerald package already and it's pretty good, I am mainly wondering about the Concert Strings package.

Let me know what you think of the samples! Thanks!

I do not have any Kirk Hunter products but they are having a group buy that is at 60% off. If you have a Kirk Hunter product then you get an extra 10% off on the remaining price. The group buy could reach 75% off with another 75 joiners.
Worst case, you could get Pop/Rock Strings( a subset of Concert Strings) for cheap.
This is the best group buy I have even seen.

I bought the solo strings 1 a few years ago. I use that sometimes, mixed in with my VSL stuff.

The quarter division/chamber part of concert strings might be something I'll get interested in before the cutoff time happens for the group buy.

The Concert Strings II are very decent. I never liked his previous string libraries. They had a weird filtered/phasing sound to them (the lower strings were beyond awful) that was uncomfortable on the ear and I think cost him his reputation in some circles. Its a shame because these are much much better and the programming is not only coherent this time (his old labelling system was a right old mess) but a real pleasure to use. Its not so different to Cinematic Strings in that its all set up on one page to be played live. I actually find it easier to use than Hollywood strings and it blends really nicely with things like VSL's Appassionata strings and LASS. They make a great sound as an ensemble. For the price the different packages are going for at the moment its a steal.
