| Beat Detective I just got the Music Production Kit for Pro Tools LE and it now has Beat Detective for multiple tracks. Any tips for someone who has never used it on how to get started with beat detective? |

| when working with drumtracks, make 2 groups. 1 group is all your drum tracks, the other your kick, snare, and maybe toms tracks. Use the kick/Snare group to track the triggers for Beat Detective, then after the trigger points are selected, swith to the whole kit group for separation and quatization. This will keep your room/OHs from mistrickering, and will keep you from clipping kicks and snares initial attack. |
