ooooooh das schweet! Maybe they'll be around $800 after retail discount. I can only hope. Man, this is my 828Mk2 killer for sure!  Manual is not posted yet. I wonder how good the AD/DA is... |

The specs seem close to the fireface 800. The A-D is similar @ 112/113db dynamic range. The D-A is slightly less at 112db compared to the FF800's 119db. I would say that the fireface 400 is better than the motu 828mk2 in terms of recording quality. The 828mk2 uses old chips, and IMO its overall sound character is inferior to RME's. | |
