TC Powercore Firewire Probs.

I don't get it.

I have just installed my powercore firewire unit, and Logic pro 7.1.1 can see the plugins... Great.

The problem is, that i only can run 5-6 plugins before Logic's system performance meter goes berserk, and with 10 plugs running, Logic says "system overload".
It seems like I got some native plugs

Changing buffer size and plugin delay compensation have no effect on the problem.

there a lots of CPU power and RAM left in the computer.

My computer is a
imac 1.8Ghz 1GB Ram
OSX 10.3.9

PS. When i run powercore on my ibook theres no problem at all.

Ibook 1.33 Ghz 1.5GB Ram
OSX 10.4.X

I think the problem is that the powercore needs to be run on it's own firewire bus? I also own an imac, and I think the two firewire ports are on the same bus...so we're screwed...
