Dual 2.5ghz G5 to 32" LCD TV

Hello there. I'm about to connect my 32" Samsung TV to my G5 since i'm sick of looking at my small 20" cinema display. I ordered a DVI/HDMI cable off ebay and should have it in a few days.

Anyone else working with this type of setup?

The TV's resolution is 1366 x 768 while my G5 video card supports 1344x840 which is the closest resolution. Below that would be 1024x768.

Running a 42" plasma mirrored on output # 2 of the dual display card. And a 32" LCD in the other room on output #2

Yeah, i was loving it until i got a bunch of LCD's for the crib. Now it's the ugliest screen in the place.

That's what i'm talking about. Not worried about screen burn with the plasma? I hear the new models are less prone to burn as the earlier plasmas.

The Panasonic I have has a jitter effect, where still images are slid slightly every few seconds to prevent burn in.

Tony, does your G5's video card resolution match the plasma exactly? Wondering what kind of image quality I can expect.

Honestly the image quality is not that good... The G5 recognized the displays DVI card the first time I powered up with the name of the card, etc. But, the resolution on the screen makes it hard to read small words & intensive editing, etc.

Gotcha. Guess i'll keep my 20" plugged in for anything needing better resolution. My 32" LCD is only 1366x786 or something like that.
