Thread Starter | Apogee Duet USB not recognized on startup
My new Apogee Duet USB won't show up on my 2011 MacBook Pro unless it's plugged in AFTER the computer is booted up. Seems like a simple issue Apogee should have been able to resolve before releasing it. Any workarounds for this? Also, not a big deal, but lots of messy glue on the unit's underside along the edges of the non-skid rubber pad. Some QC issues I guess... 15" MacBook Pro, 2.3 Ghz i7, 8 GB RAM. Mac OS 10.6.8 |

Is it bus or mains-powered?

I have it bus powered. The manual says there are two situation where you might need external power: 1- output volume into low impedance headphones, 2 - phantom power for condenser mics. So this shouldn't have anything to do with the unit not being recognized at startup since neither of these factors apply in my case. Thx.
