Does it worst the money to move from ableton to pro tools ?

Hi all !

I'm used to use ableton live. I make rock music (like strokes, arctic monkeys), well indie rock music.

And I would like to know what will be the differences if I decide to use a DAW like summat like pro tools 9. And if it worst the money to change of DAW.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Cheers !

What are you hoping to gain by moving away from ableton or what features are you looking for in a DAW?

For answer to your question, I use a DAW to get a good recording, and having the best sound quality.

- Ableton is nice to make music on the fly (musician shoes)
- Pro Tools HD is for producing records (engineer shoes)

uh?
Why don't you go to the official website, watch some videos or something like that and check the differences?

PS: You have already asked this same question.

Try Reaper. It's cheap and very very good!

what's your goal in the long term with your daw?
what would you like to do with it NOW, in a YEAR, in a couple YEARS?
the more specific your posts are, the faster the help will come.
