Thread Starter | Does it worst the money to move from ableton to pro tools ?
Hi all ! I'm used to use ableton live. I make rock music (like strokes, arctic monkeys), well indie rock music. And I would like to know what will be the differences if I decide to use a DAW like summat like pro tools 9. And if it worst the money to change of DAW. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Cheers ! |

What are you hoping to gain by moving away from ableton or what features are you looking for in a DAW?

For answer to your question, I use a DAW to get a good recording, and having the best sound quality.

- Ableton is nice to make music on the fly (musician shoes) - Pro Tools HD is for producing records (engineer shoes) |

uh? ![]() Why don't you go to the official website, watch some videos or something like that and check the differences? PS: You have already asked this same question. |

what's your goal in the long term with your daw? what would you like to do with it NOW, in a YEAR, in a couple YEARS? the more specific your posts are, the faster the help will come. |
