Thread Starter | Attn: pro tools users - setting migration from other rigs! HELP.
ATTN PRO TOOLS USERS - Why is it that when you import a session to your rig recorded on someone else's,all your settings reset!!!!!???? Meaning track height, how regions are labled during recording or just little things that you customized for your workflow.I was able to playback a just recorded vocal track with record arm still on and now i can do that.I gotta take record arm off to hear it now and its gettin annoying cause im so used to that workflow.Anyone have any idea or can at least help me get my playback settings right????

your getting all the settings the other person had. im wondering now if you should import the stems instead of the project file. but im not sure how big studios deal with this. |

I thought that this was the BFD about why I should be using Pro Tools, so that when you came to my room with your files everything would look exactly the way that you wanted it to look!

I've had very similar problems, I have decided to just import the audio into a new session, rather than deal with someone else's session.
