Thread Starter | integrate pc and mac
Ok I am going over to the darkside and getting a 2nd hand 2.4ghz macbook pro for my live rig what is the best way to integrate the MBP and my existing PC rig . I don't mind changing DAWS although I currently run cubase 5 and live 8 and both are cross platform both setups run independant analog mixers , outboard synths and processing . I really need both setups to run in sync with each other while composing and recording as I can route audio from 1 system to the other via analog Cubase has system link , would MTC/Midiclock be sufficient? I don't need sample accurate sync across them as they operate independantly but they need to have solid and accurate timing sync |

Vienna Ensemble Pro is the best way to make multiple computer DAW systems. You can mix PC's and Macs. The software comes with three licenses. Vienna Symphonic Library - Vienna Ensemble Pro |

Use system link. The easiest way.

I just use cross-platform session files (.ptf) and universal plugz (RTAS)
