export multiple regions in cubase?

in pro tools its very easy to export (bounce) multiple regions which are on the same track into seperate individuals regions all at once. It's called export selected regions.

in cubase it seems one has to manually set the loop points for each sample u want to bounce??? there must be a quicker way?

im on sx3

Select the regions in you want to export, then right click, audio menu, bounce selected. This will render the regions into audio clips. I think this is perhaps the same function as in pt. Anyway , good luck.

No, this is not what i want. This simply bounces the sperate regions of 1 track into 1 whole track.

I want to bounce seperate regions in 1 track into seperate regions all at once, like I can in pro tools.

Eg: i want to bounce the 9 audio regions that are all on 1 track, into seperate audio regions. (without having to bounce each one manually)

i've found a bit of a workaround for this in newer versions of Cubase, because near as i can tell, it still hasn't been fixed completely.

add a bunch of new audio tracks and drag each of your new regions to its own new track.

then select all and bounce them, this will create a 'new' region for each region (as opposed to being a chopped up version of the original region)

then select every track and do export selected tracks.

its not perfect, but its still faster than exporting each slice on its own.

Probably one of 25 reasons why I finally left Cubase. A picture and a thousand words and all that.... 'chop and drop'...

Solved

There is a function in Cubase 5 called; "Convert To Real Copies", and it's found under Edit > Convert To Real Copies.
But this doesn't do it either. Real sucky of cubase, I'll be switching over to pro tools soon. So tired of everything cubase is missing.
Anyways there IS a work around:
You select all your regions, then; audio > process > Gain, and select -0.01, make sure you have the "make new files"-button selected. Hit process. Now you can find a new file for each region in the "Edits"-folder of your project.... geez.
