I've used if for a long time... I guess the answer would be "sort of". It really depends on the sample. Some things it really works great for. I found it to be a lot more relevant back when I was using samplers with limited memory (and longer load times). You can often make WAY shorter loops of things than you could otherwise thereby making your souns much smaller. It works well on analog synth waves... but sometimes can be a little unpredictable... it has a couple of different ways of looping things, so you can try different ones to see which works better. It also has a basic crossfade loop window with a really nice zero crossing finder where if shows both sides of the wave at the sample level and makes matching zero crosses really easy. I don't know what it sell for today... it's not worth $500, given that it works well about 70% of the time, but when it works it's great and does looping magic that you couldn't do with any other app. One other thing... miraculously the old OS9 version works perfect in OSX running in classic mode. I was surprised (Peak does too!). mitchell |

Any comparisons between this and Zero G's "Seemless looper?" Burning question for me personally since infinity is mac-only.
