| Lives for gear | Dual Channel DDR 2 or 4 sticks ?
HI.. Does it matter if I buy two 1 gigabyte memory modules, or four 512 MB modules in terms of dual channel memory performance ? I´ve got two sticks of OCZ platinum enhanced latency 512 MB modules left over from my old PC, and I´m thinking of either buying two more of these and use 4 .......OR:.... should I just go out and buy two 1 Gig modules ? Any better performance in the two alternatives ? Thanks !!

| Lives for gear | Thanks Pepe !
Thanks for the advice , Pepe ! I just bought an Athlon 64 x2 4400 ! I´m pretty psyched up about building my new DAW.. I bought an Asus A8V motherboard with 5 pci slots... I am crossing my fingers that I can get two powercores, two UAD1´s and my Lynxs AES16 all working together.... probably be a big pain in the a$$ ....but I´m gonna try it !!! I´ve heard a lot of people with problems with this setup...hopefully I´ll get lucky and it will work !! Saludos !! Luke
