Pro Tools unable to locate hardware

I usually use a 003, but I'm traveling for a few months and need to use my Mbox. It used to work, but now it doesn't. Can anyone tell me why?
Here is a contradictory screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/ywFI0.jpg

Here is a screenshot including the CoreAudio Manager: http://i.imgur.com/UzNIy.jpg

Also, the Mbox, while available in the System Preferences>Audio and lit LEDs on the front, does not seem to output any audio.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was just showing what CoreAudio looked like in case it helped troubleshoot.

Here's a shot with no other apps running: http://i.imgur.com/KEaKh.jpg

Was the mbox used on a windows system before this mac system? Becoz if so you need to do firmware checkup of the mbox. There have been issue swithcing between windows to mac hardware mbox en 003's. Take a look on the DUC forum of Avid.

Thanks, but I think I found the problem. It looks like Mbox 1 support stopped after 8.0.1 (mid-frackin-version):
Avid - Avid end of support announcement: Digidesign Original Mbox on Pro Tools

That sucks. I really don't want to roll back to that version. Not sure how my newer projects would react.

It's hard to believe the minor changes and bug fixes made enough difference to stop support for one of their few proprietary interfaces.
