Best vocal harmony software - Melodyne?
Hey all, I'm getting into mixing a band's project that we just wrapped up tracking. They're a post-hardcore band that want a lot of depth/layers to the clean vocals, similar to The Word Alive, Abandon All Ships, Memphis May Fire, etc. I'm using Logic 9 & have read that I can duplicate the clean vocal tracks & pitch shift the double, but have also heard that Melodyne is the way to go. My question is - Is Melodyne the end all, be all vocal harmony software, or are there other tools I could be looking at?

melodyne is hands down the best IMO. It was like a dream come true after working with graphic autotune which i heard is a lot better now. I still think nothing comes close to melodyne.
