DAW Controller Touch Screen
Hi,

Are touch screen DAW Controllers any good?

1) DAW Remote for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on the iTunes App Store

2) DAW touch screen

What are the advantages of using the touch screen to control say for example a Shuttle/Jog Wheel (as found on the AWS 924/948 or any other analogue DAW control capable console) rather than using the traditional wheel which you can actually grab?

Would any of you prefer touch or the traditional method, if you were going to fork out 30k+ on a console?

Nothing beats a high quality weighted jog wheel.

Not a single DAW software is optimized for touchscreen that I am aware of.
