| Waves SSL G compressor vrs. Waves Ren. I would be interested in hearing your responses in regards to putting either on a 2 track mix at the mastering stage. I found the Ren compressor with it's optic mastering preset to be pretty good. It does add more color than the SSL and seems to be a little more aggressive. The SSL appears to be more gentle on the original signal while still controlling the transiants without choking it. |

| Can you do low level compression with the Waves SSL software compressor?

| How? I don't recall reading about it in the Waves SSL manual. (Obviously, I don't have the plugin nor have I used the hardware, but I am interested and have downloaded the manuals.)
