Any reports on macbook pro 13' 2011 fan/noise?

Hello there,
I'm considering purchasing a core i5 new macbook pro 13'.

I will be using it with logic as my main daw, for intensive audio session.

However I'm concerned by noise levels, I've read about overheating issue with the new MBP 13's. had and have other macbooks and the noise from them drives me a little bit insane.

Anyone here whishes to report on their experience with fan noise on this model?

Unfortunately purchasing a MBP 15' is not an option right now

thanks!

hi i've been using 9.1.3 on my 13" 2011 i5 with zero problems i must say its a powerful little notebook! however, i've certainly NOT pushed logic very hard so that any fan/noise/heat problems would show up. it does heat up but its acceptable so far. as far as i've researched, the i7 laptops are more prone to heat issues, not the i5s. but i'm no expert.

thanks for the reply, if you get the chance to push it with something like Evan's test let me know how it goes

would not consider buying an 13' i7.. its price tag doesn't make much sense when compared to a quad core 15' i7

I'm having the same question (worries) as TS and wanted to know if someone else have some feedback on this question.

Mainly I'm interested in how fans are acting in 13" i5 Macbook Pros. I'm currently using 13" Macbook Pro 5.5 (2.53 Core2Duo) and I'm very satisfied with how fans are reacting on this machine. But since Tjunction on my current machine is 105C and 100C on new i5 13" MbPro I'm worried if I'm gonna experience more fan noise if I upgrade.

If anyone can help?
Thanks
