With Kontakt, Vienna Instruments Pro and Alchemy I can do pretty much anything. Wouldn't hurt if I could use Omnisphere once in a while.

Nexus 2 Kontakt - How could you not have this! 3rd one is tough. AAS- Ultra Analogue Synth - sometimes I forget I have this since I have so many, but it's got a wonderful sound to it.

I can only base upon what I've used and what I have. But it's not too hard. Poise - multiple output tweakable drum sampler Harmor - additive/subtractive/sampler/resynthesis Toxic Biohazard (or maybe Surge) - FM/subtractive (Toxic Bio has better basses, but Surge has better midrange and treble sounds. )

Reaktor and Kontakt... theoretically they are VSTI's, but in practice they contain million ones. Shouldn't we view every Reaktor synth and every Kontakt instrument as separate VSTIs? xP Yeh, I get it might be hard to make computer music with literally three instruments. |

That would be like me listing: -Spectrasonics -Avid -Toontrack (Well I guess EZDrummer and Superior Drummer could have multiple instruments within them as well, but all percussion.) | |

This is a tough one... Maschine for drums and samples Trillian/Trilogy for Bass Vir2 V.I. One for toolbox sounds (general midi etc.) Though I would go for Omnisphere first for synth sounds the V.I. One is my go to toolbox for making beats. I would rather use plugs dedicated for specific instruments though (Philhamonik for Strings, Ivory for Pianos, etc.) over a general toolbox vsti like V.I. One. |
