Oooh another Waves SSL thread / Waves E-channel vs. MH Channelstrip

So here`s another Waves SSL Related question.

Has anybody compared the Waves E-channel and the Metric Halo Channelstrip ?.
If so do you have any audio clips to compare.

I just love my MHC and would like to know if the E-channel is a major step up in quallity.
Of course the MHC probably wont match the G-buss compressor but that`s a whole other thread..

Ive put the 2 side by side and found that the comrpessor and gate on the MHC was able to give me the results I needed on a booming kik. However on Snare the waves SLL E strip was able to give me a reall gritty wack that the MHC could get no where near too.The waves stuff really has a nice aggresive gritty sound but the MHC still has it place.Be a true slut and have both.
