Transparent plugin compressor

For you high enders that use plugins...

I know everyone is leaping all around about plugin comps that sound like something..but what about comps that sound like nothing?

What floats your boat? Does the Waves C1 cut the mustard, or something newer and more fantastico...

I've been using the Kjaerhus GCO...works well I think...transparent depending on how it's set of course...but is there something better?

Also, I've seen a lot of comments regarding the Timeworks Mastering Compressor, which is a limiter...more punchy, kicks the L2/L3s respective asses...what about their other plugins...the EQ and the CompressorX...also bitchin?

Some of the Sony Oxford Dynamic compressor flavors are pretty transparent IMHO

Waves Linear MB is very transparent. High latency only good for mixing. This is THE vocal comp to use if you want transparency.

Sony Oxford Dynamics and TCE MD3 are my two favourites. The MD3 is VERY transparent.

I think this is one of the best out there. Unfortunately it's so CPU heavy you really can't get more than 1 or 2 uses out of it unless you freeze the tracks or something.

jp11....//other hi end users on the pc platform.
actually ive been wanting to ask this for a time.
what i use in my sig has a whole effects suite built in.
i would be interested in what experienced audio engrs think of the included plug ins including the compressor which to my ears and many other users sounds pretty darn good. forget the silly low price....or silly comments like it cant be good because of the low price....WITHOUT LISTENING TO IT !!... i'm looking for unbiased opinion.
from folks used to hi end algorithms who are just regular studio users.
just load in a audio track into the demo...and in the mixer plug in the dynamics plug in and tell me what you think....i'm curious to get UNBIASED OPINION.
you can get the demo from pgmusic.com.
would appreciate any unbiased comments including what you think of the other plug ins in the suite like peak limit...the included real time analyzer and the many others if folks have time....like echo/reverb/flange/chorus...etc etc.
there are presets for each plug in which are starting points for user tweaks.
