Looking for TDM reverb plug - classic digital sound

Something lush with a 480 sound rather than a source reverb sound. I have the Eventide reverb now. How would Oxford reverb or ReverbOne fit the bill? I don't want a convolution reverb, not enough modulation for me. Any ideas? Thx.

Have you the ability to access DirectX plug-ins- have you tried Sonic Timeworks 4080? - it's not the greatest quality but does a fair impression

Your Eventide has modulation in spades....I don't get your question..
do you want another sound??

Reverb1 can do modulation, at least in the PCM 80 departement.
I haven't heard a plug sound any way near a 480, though.

In my ears, the Sony verb is all about tailoring your ER, and not so much about colouring your tail.

IK Multimedia are planning on releasing a RTAS/TDM verb. It's in beta, I believe.

I myself like the new VSS3 TDM

Some of the emt plate IR's in tlspace are quite nice - also the amount of fine control over the ER and lR is handy. and the gui is sort of 480ish ... ie lots of easy access to parameters . I've got reverb one ,tl space, ren verb, and alot of IR's from altiverb which run quite nicely in tlspace. I'd say 95% of my verb use is tlspace the other 5 % is reverb 1 - for a REALLY dense obvious reverb "effect"

That said - i am looking at sony's princeton verb or a high end tc hardware unit

good luck in your search!

DO NOT BUY REVERB1...it's not gonna work for you. It's really "digital" sounding.

Have you tried Renverb?

I second the stay away from reverb1 vote.

Have you tried convolution reverb, with fx on the send (delay, chorus etc)?
I know its not the same, but I think a good convolution verb is still the best bet for a lush
ITB verb.

Check out ReVibe... it's pretty cool for that sort of thing.

Reverb1

It's highly underrated. Though I really like the new VSS3 TDM, I've created presets
with Rev1, that people who thought they hated the plug, loved!

But if people won't spend time learning it, it's fine. If you get quicker results with other plugs, it's fine.

Still, in my book, it's underrated.

Will I share my magic presets?
Only to a Reverb1 endorser....

Princeton Digital 2016....amazing reverb.

Try one out.

Also, Revibe and Reverb One are pretty good too.

I am not sure if someone mentioned those already...but my .02.

I quite like the rev one for drums. Wood Room works OK. Have you got any of those presets we could try out Ruudman?
