Thread Starter | Oxford 911 + External Hardrive
I'm looking at external firewire hardrives with Oxford 911 chips built in. So far the Pacific Pro Audio http://www.pacificproaudio.com/drives.asp and the OWC Mercury Elite http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other...g/ME2FW7080GB/ has caught my attention. Has anyone had any experience with either of these? What other firewire drives come with the Oxford 911 built in? I was also looking at the EZ Quest which has a 922 chipset but I don't know the difference between the 922 and 911 |

922 is for Firewire800 OWC makes great drives. I'd go that route. I have one of their back-up enclosures. It's kinda loud, but it works well. http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other...ng/MEFW912AL2/
