Thread Starter | Why is my Lynx Aurora way playing way louder on the left channel?
So I've had a Lynx Aurora 8 for about a year now, and have had no issues, but recently the left channel (channel 1 ) playing considerably louder than the right channel (channel 2). For the life of me I can't work it out.. I've posted 2 screen-shots of the mixer. Any ideas!??

have you tried removing the big knob from your chain and seeing if that fixes it? if so, your big knob may have gone bad. they're not very good to being with..... N |

Can you show a screen shot of the mixer behind the remote control panel? I had this problem once and it was the output sliders that was slightly off from each other. Good luck.

| Gear addict | AES cable
Ive just had the same problem with mine, my right channel was dropping in and out by a lot of volume. I think ive solved it. Im using the AES16 digi card, with the big cable, I found that making sure the cable is sitting upright so perfectly 90 degrees to the unit it stopped happening, if this is the case I think the weight of the cable was pulling down the contacts into the aurora, because the converters are in the top of my rack.. fingers crossed thats it !! ( I just propped it up ) .. hasnt happened since. |
