Thread Starter | How to set up a Mic in Ableton Lite?
Can anyone help me connect my mic up to use with Ableton as I am getting no sound atall. I have an M-Audio keystudio 49i controller with a Rode NT1A Condenser Mic connected directly into its mic socket, which is all connected to my laptop via USB. Ive spent a few hours changing the audio preferences etc and searching for an answer in Ableton's own help menu but no luck. Even when I can see the reading levels reacting to my voice I am hearing nothing in my headphones. I know the headphones are fine as I use a guitar with no probs. I keep hearing about pre-amps but Im sure that's all built-in to the cntroller's audio interface. |

Have you tried the headphone jack on the Keystation?
