Mixer Problem In Cubase SX3.1?

I have my 3 mixers set up as followsin Cubase SX3.1:

Mixer 1 - Everything hidden except Inputs and outputs.
Mixer 2 - Everything hidden except Groups and FX Channels.
Mixer 3 - Everything hidden except Individual Channels.

For some bizarre reason Mixer 2 & 3 stay the same as I set them when closed and then re-opened but Mixer 1 doesn't. I set it so I can see all the inputs and outputs but when I close it and then re-open there is a big blank space in the middle with the inputs and outputs pushed to the sides. It's easy enough to drag the bars back across to see them again but this does get bl***y tedious after the 100th time!

I've tried the save mixer settings button on the left hand side of the screen, no luck there.

Why won't mixer 1 stay the same as I set it when the other 2 do, this is so strange?

It's beginning to drive me mad!

Could someone try emulating this setup, see if the same thing happens. Cheers.
