Brickwall limiting; Dbx Quantum II opinions

I'm about to buy the Oxford limiter, but have an opportunity to get a Dbx Quantum II instead if I spend a little more cash.
Opinions?

I used to own the Quantum 1 . I kinda regret selling it really. Perfectly great and vanilla sounding.

However, the Peak Stop Plus limiting (their version of brickwall) is kinda strange.

Its more or less a straight up hard limiter, meaning, even if you engage a soft knee, eventually the peaks get ....squared off!? And you couldnt use this at the same pass as the multiband (unless i am retarted). I for the life of me could not understand why the concept of a soft limiter used at the same time as the multiband was not included, i mean, the finalizer did !? So basically an L2 was more transparent in the brickwall dept.

That's the way it works in the Quantum II as well--can't run them both. I really like the unit, but don't use the broadband limiter.
