Thread Starter | How is Logic Pro 7 able to play back 88.2khz on my Powerbook?
As some of you may know I was curious about SX3 so I just purchased it to take my editing sessions on the road with me. I've been working on a project recorded at 88.2Khz in Logic Pro 7... I imported all the audio files in SX3 on my Dual 2.5 G5, worked on it for a little bit then hit the road. Now I'm on my Powerbook (15 inch, 1.67ghz) and it doesn't support my 88.2 session using the built in sound card, but Logic Pro does!?!?!?!!?! LP7 runs smooth with 88.2 sessions.... I even created a new session in SX to see if the "due external clock error" was the cause of it. I use a Rosetta 800 clocked by a BigBen in the studio, so it gave that error when I loaded up the session.... I just waisted my money with this thing... LP7's audio editing is too basic... so I bought SX3 as a means to replace my Mbox for my portable rig, only to find that it's worthless for it. Any help on this would be amazing... A fix would be a miracle! Also, I'm running it on 10.3.9 if that matters......... Thanx ahead...
