Source Connect - ISDN for the rest of us?

Has anyone used this? Comments? Stable with DSL?

I'd try the demo, but I don't have net access (or HD) at my project studio, yet.

Works well if you have a good DSL line -- used it between LA and Australia, Chicago, New Zealand and Prague.

Test your DSL connection at both ends with dslreports.com

Rail,
Have they released a stereo version yet? Also what studio in prague were you working with? I do a lot of mixing of tracks recorded in prague and we are always trying to figure out a way to have a better long distance interface with Studio Schmeky in Prague...

Sometimes the budgets are so low or the time crunch so bad that the clients can't even squeeze the time and budget to fly over for a couple of days.

They've had a stereo version for a while -- this was at CSNO in Prague and we used 2 instances.. a stereo for the stereo audio and a mono for the SMPTE... the latest version includes Remote Transport Sync so you don't need to run a separate instance for SMPTE.

What would be considered in the working range? At what point could I expect problems? 2 Megabits good enough?
