Thread Starter | Can you run two different vesions of Pro Tools on the same machine
The reason I want to do this is because I have a program that will only run on OS9 that runs in sync with pro tools. So I want to use OS9 from time to time. I want to run OSX so I can use a UAD-1 with pro tools. Sounds odd. Let me know if you can help. Santo

Assuming you're on a machine that will boot into 9, no problem. The safest way is to have 2 partitions, 1 for 9 1 for X, but it's not mandatory. You'll need the older version of the software of course.
