Is there any midi plug-in arpegiator?

Is there any midi plug-in arpegiator?
I have several modules and synth plug-ins but no arpegiator. I work in Sonar 4 (Studio) and it's midi plug-ins have a very basic and stupid arpegiator, good for nothing.
I need one for a pop song I'm producing these days. I can't buy a keyboard right now, so it has to be a plug-in or something (?).
Please some help...

I was looking for one a while back too but I can't remember which ones I found at the time. I would suggest also doing a search at www.kvraudio.com. One of the web's best source for finding freeware VST stuff.

good luck

Hi insomnio,

There's a decent (but under construction) list of midi plugins at http://www.midiplugins.com/

Can Sonar use both MFX and VST Midi fx? I'm not sure.

Best,
L.

Wow!
Now we're talking. Thanks a lot, that's an amazing site.
I know Sonar can use VST plug-ins for audio. Haven't tried any VST midi plug-in thou. I'll let you know how it behaves.

No problem!

The MIDI VST's seem to be more than a little problematic since each host handles them and their routing differently -- seeing there's no established standard for such things, I'm not very surprised...

You might also run into loads of problems trying to load the VST's into Sonar because of it's VST wrapper, but please tell me how it goes!

Anyhow, the ones which work, seem to be stable enough for BASIC use.

Peace,
L.

The Cakewalk VST adapter only works for audio plug-ins.
Now I have midi plug-ins in my audio plug-in list, and they can't be opened in midi tracks nor moved from an audio track to a midi track. dfegad
By now, I'm stuck!

Thanks anyways...
