These have got to be some of the most underrated RTAS plugs out there. I own the older version plugs and they were outstanding as well. I use Track plug on every mix I do. The new updates on track plug are great, I love the Vintage option and the side chain option, you will not find a more thorough, well thought out channel strip plug ANYWHERE at any price. I have used the Track Plug, Multidynamics and the Reverb 5 - all of them are outstanding. Looking forward to updating after my Demo's are done.

How about a little EXTRA deal for your friends at Gearslutz!!!

Well just to let you know we've got a Logic User Group "Group Buy" going on, with savings up to 50% off if enough people sign up.

http://logic-users.org/groupbuy/wavearts

You just need a free account to sign up (you don't have to use Logic).

Just a heads up that the group buy (which has been a great success) ends at the end of the month (Jan. 31st), so here's the last chance to get these plug-ins at 50% off:

I signed up (as someone who uses exclusively Pro Tools LE and Peak Pro ), bought them the other day, and for the record, I feel like I've stolen from you. Walked into the Wave Arts online shop, stuck a box under my jacket and walked out unseen. I do hope you'll forgive me. These plugins are superb, and worth three times what you charge at full retail. Don't get any ideas though. If I start hearing anything about a WAUP I'll send these things packing faster than you can say 'iLok' ...

The finalplug did not sound any good to my ears. Distortion all over the place. And the demo crashed my PC and I couldn't remove the plugin from my system. It didn't find some "INSTALL" file....??

Final Plug seems good for a few dB, but nowhere near 6dB, as in the presets. Like most of these digital peak limiters, there are tradeoffs.

Are the numbers above the threshold control turning red? This means the input is too hot.

Sorry to hear about your negative experience. Normally using Add/Remove Programs works fine to remove plug-ins, and we have not had other reports of PC crashes... we have quite responsive customer support so we'd be happy to look into it if you can provide more info (host, plug-in format, etc.) to support@wavearts.com

We've had a generally great response to the sound quality of FinalPlug since we released v5.

Thanks,

You should make controls more logarythmic. Some people don't look at the values, they look at the way passed by treshold. Waves has it and it seems to be more precise, but with the same settings I find Finalplug far better sounding.

Rob,

Are there plans for all of these plugs to be "Receptorized"? Right now, as far as I can tell, just the track plug and the masterverb are officially supported by receptor. I am interested in the FinalPlug and MultiDynamics, too. Do you know if those will work on the receptor yet? If you need a "beta tester", I'd be happy to check it out for you!

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Yes, we've created Receptorized versions and have already passed them along to Muse, I'm not sure what their timetable is for release.
