Cubase 2 bus peaks...

I tend to push my mixer pretty hot, most mixes are around -2 or so at peak. i do a lot of hip hop and i like big drums.

latest mix, is clipping at around 1 db over in SX. I don't use any comp or limiter on the 2 bus.

Thing is, i don't hear any distortion, and I like the sound of the mix.

What I do is render my mix into 2 interleaved channels (32 bit float)and master that in SX using Izotope and dither to 16 in izotope too. so of course the song will peak at 0 then.

So, just wondering how hard you cubase guys peak at..is it truly clipping when it says it is?
