Thread Starter | MR816X is here and i love it! Just wanted to add thumbsupthumbsup!!! The drivers are solid and installed flawlessly, the manual is well written and clear, and i was up and running in no time. No major recordings yet. Coming from an RME Multiface, i noticed a lot more low end and fullness all around. For the last 4 months ive been using a Novation XioSynth as my primary interface----no comparison as expected. Clarity, depth, richness. Did some basic speech recording with an SM57, plenty of gain and really clear. Compared to Presonus Digimax FS pre's, these had much better depth and clarity and none of that metallic artifact which u get from low end pres. I'm really happy---thanks to this forum!! I would never have picked up a Steinberg interface had it not been for the good reviews and honesty here. Great bargain! Cheers FB |
