It's $199, mentioned here and on the site. And yes, clicking the Store link takes you to Tony's site. There's a demo request form on the Relab site.

Sweet reverb, really digging it on pop lead vocals. Haven't even scratched the surface of it yet. Looking forward to the rest of the algos.

I may on occasion talk about some of the products I am a dealer for in my posts.. and that's OK! I sell them because I like them. Not vice versa. It's more fun to talk about things you know and love, then things you don't.

How about some info about where a person goes to download the plugin and obtain authorization once the plug has been purchased. Absolutely no info about this on the Relab or High Profile Audio sites, except for some info about how to get the demo.

I just bought the plug and received the receipt via email, and I have no idea about what I need to do now to actually get the plug.

Yup, me too. I just purchased through Paypal. Now what do I do? Nothing is showing up in my iLok account. Do I need to first download a demo? A bit confusing, I think, if you're trying to follow the steps all the way through.

My order has been processed manually as far as I remember, so ... maybe just wait a little.

You should both have your license code and instructions in your inbox now. Authorizations are processed manually, so they typically follow shortly after your purchase is completed. If you have any other issues, don't hesitate to contact us directly.

I've been using the LX480 Random Hall on vocals and acoustic guitar after reading a post from Ken Lewis saying he was using Lexicon halls in another thread. I like it's Random Hall better than the one in my PCM bundle. Great plugin.

Yes, it does sound great on a lead vocal.

Often I prefer Halls to plates for vocals esp where there is some space for FX to draw you in.

When the mix is busy I'm still prefering my UA EMT250 with a shorter reverb time, but that may change when I get my hands on the other 480XL algo's.

I'm especially looking forward to the Ambience patches as I always layer an Ambience and a longer reverb on vocals.

The more I use this reverb, the more I'm loving it - I never could afford a hardware 480L so this is just Xmas everyday at the moment.

Trebor

Here are some presets I got from the ReLab forum. The smaller spaces are excellent and show what the algo can do with smaller rooms.

Hey Henge

Nice one - thank for this, I will check them out today.

It's not often people start posting presets for a plugin, but I can see this happening a lot with the 480XL it's a deep plugin with lot's of possibilities.

I'm starting to realise I'm going to have to actually learn how to program a 480L!

I just down loaded the original 480L manual, does anyone know how much of the 480XL GUI relates to the original LARC?

True .... and kudos to Warp and Tony for not being greedy on the price, they have made a very cool decision to put a iconic reverb within the reach of most studio setups ... thumbsup

+1 - I use LX480 RandomHall on synths. I totally love 3D effect and to my ear super-nice modulation not found in other plugz

I am interested could anyone post nice room presets?

As a matter of fact there are room presets in the file posted earlier . with 480 names they're probably parameters copied from the 480 manual . "large room"
"music club" "small room" and "very small room"

Yes, just like the original. Some want the possibility to eliminate some of the noise (Im looking at you, Hannes_F) - this will be part of the next version.

But...if i can remember correctly Warp69 said (in deleted threads) that demo version is only 44khz and 48khz ?? So is this some kind of demo restriction? Shame we can't browse old threads. I am almost sure it was something like that..
