Consider of buying a Metric Halo Lio-8 (cable issue)

My current interface is ff800 and most of my gears (synth etc...) are using TSR plugs. My concern about buying Lio-8 is that it uses DB-25 and I need to find the cable guys to tailor the cables for me. May I ask the current users, how do you cater this kind of cable issue ?

Edited: Or does it come with break out cables?

You can buy a D-Sub/TRS breakout cable, it's pretty simple.

I bought my DB25 cables from Redco. They catered to my needs and tailored the new cables correctly.

I had the same issue when i was going from a FF800 to an SSL rig

My solution was here: Is this the only kind of DSub to XLR/Jack 'interface' around?

There's also the mamba patchbay's if you're in the states

I don't want to be restricted to whatever is on the breakout cable...

thanks all for your suggestions.

But I am a bit surprise that why this kind of hi-end product doesn't come with the break out cable like Dangerous D-box ?

Redco did a custom panel of Neutrik connectors and 4 DB-25s for $375 (I think). Love it.

I agree they might offer it as an option, but it doesn't make sense to bundle such expensive cable into the price when many users likely won't use them (either because they already have them in their rig or because they need different configurations).

Plus the D-box is a monitoring box so it makes sense to provide cables...
