Well.. I would hate to post something that is supposed to fix bugs, but causes another serious bug.

There is a very odd memory crash that we're working on.. one that's done, we'll be all good. All the other little bugs are fixed (GUI bug, Dual Screen Bug, Fade In Bug).

Cheers,
Steven

NAMM has kicked off so I'm betting they won't be doing anything else until after Monday.

I love FG-X, and VCC is pretty cool, but to announce upgrades and then not release them is a bit of a drag. Oh well, it is what it is, nothing the customer can do except wait.
I'll bet that tape plug will be very nice too, but definitely not holding my breath.

I'm going to check today with the devs to see what's up with that final issue we were having.

I'm really waiting for this fix. This is a contradiction: a amazing plug in with this kind of bugs, pops and clips! Anyway, I've been using it, but just when I have time to make automations to avoid this bugs.
This fix is important because when we need to do a fast work, we don't have time to fix manually with automations these bugs!
When this problem was fixed, it will be the best Master plug in!!

I've been trying out the demo over the past week and it's an excellent plugin... very transparent when set up properly. I'm definitely going to purchase this but if the new version is going to be released within the next 10 days or so then it's worth holding off a bit... could really use it in a DVD mastering project now though!

Any new news on the pending release would be great.

All the bugs of the FG-X such as the fade in bug, have been fixed. But somehow it created a GUI bug that we have been fixing for the past two weeks. It appears that this may have finally happened.

FG-X update will also have some new presets from myself and legendary mastering engineer Howie Weinberg.

i REALLY hope there's CPU optimization included in this update. On a i7-980 (3.33GHz, six core) rig (just upgraded the processor) in PT10HD Native (96 kHz) session, I cannot get this plugin to work BY ITSELF (no other plugins) on a single stereo instance without 90xx errors. Only way is to disable the comp. Even then I'm not guaranteed to get through a bounce without a frikkin drop. On 44.1 or 48 it works, but I do most of my work in 96. So yea, fingers crossed here...

Side Note: I have 9 of 12 cores dedicated to PT, highest buffer I can, and 99 CPU usage to the cores dedicated to PT. Still no good. I can't tell you how many plugs I can run fine on the lowest buffer setting when recording without issue. Yet, not 1 instance, full, by itself? I know there's a lot going on under the hood, but this is a stretch to use that argument with the system I have. There's definitely room for improvement. And yes, I will submit a ticket, but this is a bit frustrating at this point (had same performance on an i7-920 with this plug and PT)...

Yes, it's been asked a few times but they haven't clarified whether there are any CPU optimizations. If not I'll definitely be disappointed. VST version runs great, but that's not worth the trouble- I need the RTAS version to be more like the VST.

I can confirm this, have not noticed a big hit to CPU using the VST in Reaper (i7 2600 unlocked)

Hi folks, as I stated previously, we've fixed a lot of the reported issues and I do believe the CPU hit is reduced in RTAS. But we must tackle this last issue before I post it publicly, and we are committed right now to doing so.

Cheers,
Steven
