Pro Tools M-Powered is ruining my night......

Hey guys, mid session here trying to complete a demo with my band. Just spent 3 hours tracking only to get an access violation error, followed by PT freezing. Restarted the computer/PT and now the session won't even open. Here's error message I get:

Could not complete your request because Assertion in "/Volumes/Developement/vb_protools_8.0.3_cpr/AlturaPorts/PT4_App/MacBuild/../PtSess/PtSess_RunTime.cpp", line 18636 while translating MIDI Playlists.

Any ideas?

Thanks
William

What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

Trash prefs&databases, repair disk permissions, etc.

Also, your session might become corrupted. Try make a brand new session, and use import session data to see if it's works.
